工業が高度に発展したロンドンでは、馬車や蒸気船、鉄道といった近代ならではの交通手段が登場。ククリナイフやブラスナックル、ケインソードなど、隠密性の高い暗殺武器を使いこなしてターゲットを狙うのだ。さらに、この時代のテクノロジーを活かした新装備「ロープランチャー」が、これまでにないダイナミックな移動を可能にする。
